Choosing a Honda car that's right for you depends majorly on what you expect from the vehicle. Notwithstanding, the Honda sedan lineup available on the market is at the best price. Let's compare Civic LX vs. Insight vs. Accord Hybrid to see which offers the most value.
The Honda Civic (LX) has really stepped up its already impressive game. The exclusive features and biggest changes to the 2022 Civic include: Rear seat side airbags, All-digital LCD instrument display, Qi-compatible wireless charging, Available 9-inch HD color touchscreen, All-new dashboard styling, and Updated Honda Sensing. Some of its safety features include: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow, Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and Auto High-Beam Headlights
For Honda Insight, there are numerous driver-friendly features like the Heated front seats, Premium 450W audio system with 10 speakers, Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System,Apple CarPlay, Deceleration paddles, Android Auto, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and Walk Away Auto Lock. It has the same safety features as the Civic. Unlike other Honda models, the Honda Accord Hybrid comes with two exclusive features - EV Driving Mode and Power Flow Monitor.
Civic comes standard with a 2.0L 4-cylinder that makes 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. Civic EX and Touring trims get a turbocharged 1.5L 4-cylinder that makes 180 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. The new Honda Insight uses a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine (107 hp and 99 lb-ft of torque) and an electric motor (129 horsepower and 197 lb-ft of torque), which equals 151.5 total system horsepower. Its high-voltage batteries are also covered by an 8-year limited warranty.
All Accord Hybrid models come with an electric motor (181 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque) and 2.0L 4-cylinder (143 hp and 129 lb-ft of torque), which equates to 212 in total horsepower. Like the Insight, Accord Hybrid batteries are also covered by an 8-year limited warranty.
