Important Updates For PA’s 2022 Hyundai Lease Market

The Hyundai car brand is a huge player in the entry-level luxury segment. Marked for their superb prowess in creating budget-friendly cars without sacrificing aesthetics, comfort, high-tech, and reliability, Hyundai products are highly sought after in virtually all countries worldwide. Despite a shaky start to life, the South Korean automaker has cemented its place as one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world.

For the 2022 model year, Hyundai is bringing some new nameplates to revigorate its breathtaking lineup of high-end cars. Hyundai has also made some essential redesigns and engine upgrades to modernize its aging models.

Here are the significant changes in Hyundai’s lineup for 2022.

  • 2022 Ioniq5

Ioniq, Hyundai’s electric sub-brand, introduces the brand-new all-electric Ioniq5. The Ioniq5 is a compact crossover with next-generation styling, high-tech features, a spacious interior, and a very lively powertrain that produces up to 320-horsepower in the all-wheel-drive version of the Ioniq5. It is the first car to be built on the company’s new E-GMP platform, which will serve as the underpinnings of Hyundai’s future EVs.

Another sub-brand of the Korean automaker, N, has achieved a commendable feat as it launches its first-ever performance-enhanced sedan and SUV.

  • 2022 Kona N

The Kona N is a performance-oriented version of the conventional Hyundai Kona subcompact SUV. It depicts everything a performance-tuned Hyundai stands for. The all-new Kona N features a gutsy 2Liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch auto transmission. It also features the N Grin shift, which adds extra 10-horses for 20seconds to elevate the car’s power.

  • 2022 Elantra N

The “N” performance sub-brand has also manufactured a sportier and more powerful variant of the Hyundai Elantra. This enhanced Elantra also marks N’s first-ever sedan and features the brand’s impressive N Grin shift feature that adds extra 11-ponies for 20seconds. Hence, the all-new Elantra N will produce a total of 286-horsepower.

  • 2022 Santa Cruz

2022 looks like a year of new beginnings for Hyundai as it unveils its first-ever pickup truck, the Santa Cruz. The all-new Santa Cruz comes after years of anticipation, and it proves to be worth the wait. Though not as powerful as other trucks in its class, the Santa Cruz will still tickle your taste buds with its futuristic styling, upscale interior, and sublime handling.

  • 2022 Kona and 2022 Tucson

The regular Hyundai Kona gets some impressive exterior refresh and commendable interior upgrades for 2022. Its grilles, wheels, bumpers, and infotainment display are redesigned to give a more contemporary look. A sportier model now joins the regular lineup.

The Hyundai Tucson is not left out of the party. It also witnesses massive redesigns on the exterior and superb upgrades in its interior.

A powerful plug-in hybrid model also joins the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe lineup.

The rest of the cars in Hyundai’s lineup get slight updates, reshuffled trim offerings, and standard driver assistant features.
